March 2014:

Exempted Dogs-Health insurance cover available for the first time:

Up to now, there has been no policy available for health cover on an exempted dog, this is, as far as we are aware, the first policy and hopefully more will follow.

We have spoken with Brooks Braithwaite (Sussex) Ltd and they have confirmed they are now offering health insurance for exempted dogs;

Up to £1,000 for the purchase price of your dog following Death from Illness, up to the renewal following the dog’s 8th birthday
Up to £1,000 for the purchase price of your dog following Death from Injury
Up to £1,000 Boarding Fees per year
Up to £1000 Advertising & Reward, per year
Up to £1,000 for the purchase price of your dog following loss by Theft of Straying

For an indication on premium and an application form please telephone Brooks Braithwaite on 01444 412118 or email admin@brooksbraithwaite.com.
